Your files

Convertle processes files in your browser. File contents are not uploaded to a conversion server. Your original files stay unchanged, and converted files are downloaded to your device.

Preferences and browser storage

Convertle saves your appearance and conversion preferences in local storage on your device. It also caches conversion engines in your browser to reduce repeat downloads. You can remove this data through your browser’s site settings.

Some video conversions use temporary browser storage to handle large files. The app attempts to clean up these temporary files when you remove a conversion.

Website requests

Your browser downloads the website and conversion engines when you use Convertle. The hosting provider receives standard web requests, which can include your IP address and browser information. Your file contents are not part of those requests.

Analytics are disabled in this deployment.
